The last thing I’ve added to my setup:

I was using a RODE PodMic before getting the Shure SM7DB, and I love the new mic!

My biggest learning:

I've learned that audio still means the most, especially with video podcasting. Video is cool, and people love consuming podcasts in video format. But if the audio stinks, it ruins the show. 

I also learned that while it's great to edit with fancy headphones, the best headphones to finish your episodes with are AirPods, as they're what most people use when they consume podcasts.

Why I started:

I have been podcasting since I was little, on a boombox, before podcasts really existed. I love being able to have conversations and teach people about topics I am passionate about. And I find it far more natural to do it in podcast form than on blogs or social media.
